Give Your Old Bike a New Life

Donating a bike is one of the simplest ways to make a real difference in your local community and for the environment. We gladly accept all bikes – any size, any age, and in any condition. Please don’t worry if your bike is rusty, missing parts, or hasn’t moved in years. If it can’t be safely repaired, we’ll carefully use it for spare parts to bring other bikes back to life instead of sending it to landfill.

Your donation helps more people access affordable, reliable transport, supports local cycle projects, and reduces waste. You can choose the option that suits you best: drop your bike off at a nearby cycle project, where friendly volunteers will welcome you, or request a collection if getting it to us is difficult. Either way, your old bike will be treated with care and put to good use, helping someone else ride further, feel safer, and stay active.

Request a Bike Collection Online

If you are unable to bring your bike directly to one of our cycle projects, you can request a home collection using our simple online form. Please note that collections are not always possible and depend on your location, our vehicle availability, and current demand, so we will confirm by email or phone once we have reviewed your request. To help us assess whether we can collect your bike, you must upload at least one clear photo of the bike and provide accurate contact details and your full address.

The form asks for your name, email address, and phone number so we can get in touch about arranging the collection or asking any follow‑up questions. We also need your full address, including postcode, so we can check if you are within our collection area and plan a suitable route. You will be asked to choose your preferred cycle project from a dropdown list, which helps us direct your bike to the most appropriate workshop.

To understand what kind of bike you are donating, there is a field for a brief description of the bike, where you can note its size (for example, adult or child, frame size if known) and its general condition (such as rideable, needs repairs, or not sure). The image upload field is required, as a clear photo helps our team quickly assess the bike’s suitability and plan space in our vehicle. All the information you provide will be used only to contact you about this collection request and will not be shared for marketing or with third parties.
