The Earlestown Cycle Project

Your Community Bike Shop

The Earlestown Cycle Project, Back Bride Street

Our latest project set up in the heart of Earlestown - The Project has shop which is open now with bikes and sports wear from our charity partner Rebuild with Hope. The service centre and courses will be up and running later this summer.

Our projects are run for the community by the community and we need you, the people of Earlestown and Newton le Willows to succeed.

Volunteer at The Cycle Project

Like most charity shops we couldn't survive without your help, and we welcome volunteers from all walks of life to give a few hours of their time. We don't just need mechanics! Shop assistants, social media gurus, anyone who can help spread the word, and we do need a few mechanics...
We have some highly qualified mechanics at the Cycle Project who are also experienced trainers. For the right people we can train you to service and repair all types of bikes.

Donate a Bike

Everyone should have access to a bike. Cycling improves both physical and mental wellbeing, can help with balance, and is a great way to travel. The benefits to children can be huge, especially in the age of smartphones. If you have a bike you no longer use, or has a few issues, we want it. If your child has grown out of their bike then pass it on. If you leave it for the scrap man  then it goes to scrap when it could make someone very happy. Pass on a bike and make someone's day.

All donated bikes are cleaned, safety inspected before being repaired and serviced. Any bike with too many issues are used for parts. The bikes are sold at a reduced cost or donated to other charities and people in need. All profit goes back in to the cycle project. It was the profit from our other Cycle Projects that has paid for The Earlsetown Cycle Project, lets keep it going.
